From the Phoenix, Oct. 24th 2023
In the past days, the Phoenix has been reflecting on our responsibility as a news source and student publication at Sarah Lawrence. As a media organization we plan to be a source of objective reporting in support of a free Palestine; actively against Islamophobia and Anti-semitism. We believe that silence is violence.
We will be reporting on the Students for Justice in Palestine’s Walk Out tomorrow as well as sharing donation and support resources in the upcoming days. We will also be publishing an in-depth article that will provide more context on the issue and SJP’s efforts.
We stand for a free Palestine and against the Occupation.
