Hochul and Biden Event in Photos

Friday 7PM: Secret Service tour the area around campus, guided by campus security.
Saturday 11:30 AM: Workers taking out parts of the stage from a truck. A forklift shuttles parts of the stage back and forth from the truck to the South Lawn. A Ford pickup truck has the stilts.
11:40 AM: Work on the power lines along Kimball Avenue continued uninterrupted throughout the weekend.
12 Noon: Cristle Collins Judd, the president of the college, assisted with Biden's visit. Part of her helping involved bringing tablecloths to Westlands.
12–2PM: Sarah Lawrence Activities Council and Democracy Matters get people to register to vote, and to give voting information. According to Democracy Matters co-chair Zen Nguyen (left), 10 people were registered and at least 30 more had their registration confirmed.
4:45 PM: Scissor lifts were brought in to hold lights up far off the ground.
9PM: Westlands is illuminated. Swiftly after the photo was taken, I was asked to stop taking photos. (I apologized, moved on, and continued taking photos.)
Sunday, Noon: signs are put up by Yonkers Police in and around the Sarah Lawrence campus.
12:15 PM: An individual was escorted into a campus security vehicle.
A fence perimeter is established around the South Lawn.
12:30 PM: A person on an ATV does a U-turn away from police further down the road and off frame.
1PM: Volunteers from Democracy Matters before beginning assisting in the event. On Saturday morning, the club sent out an email to members asking for volunteers. The signup sheet filled up within 40 minutes. On a Saturday morning. 1:50 PM: The beginning of the day was severely overcast and rainy. Many students I talked to expressed that they would not attend the event if it continued raining. (Umbrellas and bags were prohibited.)
1:55 PM: One of the (cute) dogs from state police.
Fire trucks and EMS vehicles are stationed in the Robinson parking lot. Police on the North Lawn escorted people out. Students in buildings around the North and South Lawns were prohibited from entering and exiting until 8PM.
2:15 PM: Students had a separate line to queue in, which stretched down to Slonim Woods.
3:51 PM: The 'corral', a turnout of about five people (three of them kids, who look very thrilled) held Zeldin signs. They left less than 15 minutes later.
4:15 PM: A small camera crew from Timcast interviewed students. Teddy Nelson answers questions about his feelings towards Biden and current events at SLC.
Many people had signs for Chuck Schumer, and held them up while he was introduced.

6:30 PM: Biden walks onstage while people took photos and videos from their phones.

7 PM: Biden finishes his speech. After speaking, Biden steps down to the ground to speak with students and others while photographers take photos from the stage.
Snipers, stationed on the Yoko Ono, pack up their rifles.
7:15 PM: Biden's motorcade exits campus and leaves by Mead Way.
9 PM: Deconstruction begins.
Political signs are left on the ground.
Fences are cleaned up and workers reel parts of the stage back to the truck.
Monday, Noon: Chairs and folding tables are stacked neatly on the South Lawn, same with the portapotties.
